We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced corporate responsibility professional, with expertise in human rights, to join GSK's responsible business team.
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Corporate Responsibility who has experience across a broad range of responsible business topics including human rights. You will be joining a team that is accountable for helping to set direction on responsible business strategy, governance and insights; delivering GSK's reporting and understanding relevant external trends and regulation; responses to investor ratings/indices; investor engagement; and oversight of human rights.
This role will support work across the team and have a particular focus on implementing GSK's human rights strategy. This role will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, helping to embed human rights due diligence across key business functions such as procurement, sustainability and EHS.

In this role you will
* Oversee GSK's human rights programme, working with relevant business functions to deliver against the agreed action plan, including impact assessments.
* Deliver annual human rights update to the GSK Leadership Team and Board, along with relevant reporting including GSK's Modern Slavery Act Statement.
* Work with external advisors to monitor relevant legislation and agree actions with internal stakeholders to ensure GSK is compliant with legislation.
* Keep up to date with relevant external human rights developments and participate in external working groups such as the BSR Human Rights group.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders across various business functions (e.g., HR, legal, supply chain) to promote the integration of human rights considerations into business processes.
* Help drive continued refinement of GSK's responsible business approach through external benchmarking, horizon scanning and being at the forefront of external trends.
* Help to deliver GSK's submissions to priority indices used by investors.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
* Experience across a broad range of responsible business topics.
* Human rights experience including advising on modern slavery, labour rights and human rights due diligence.
* Experience in human rights reporting (e.g., modern slavery statements) and responsible business reporting.
* Working knowledge of human rights due diligence standards and initiatives.
* Ability to write papers/updates for senior leadership.
* Strong written and verbal communication.
* Ability to think critically and strategically.
* Prior experience in a large, complex organisation is preferable.
