About the Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the costs and financial aspects of our interior design and fit-out projects. You will ensure projects are completed within budget, providing value for money while maintaining the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for interior design and fit-out projects across various sectors.
2. Conduct cost analysis and manage project costs, from initial estimates through to final accounts.
3. Liaise with designers, project managers, and clients to understand project requirements and provide accurate costings.
4. Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
5. Monitor and control project expenditure, identifying and addressing any variances.
6. Prepare and present detailed cost reports to senior management and stakeholders.
7. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all financial aspects of projects.
8. Conduct regular site visits to oversee project progress and ensure financial control.
9. Manage procurement processes and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
10. Resolve any financial disputes or issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
About You:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the interior design, construction, or related industry.
Strong understanding of cost management, budgeting, and financial control.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Full UK driving licence.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Professional membership of a recognised quantity surveying institution (desirable).
