Electrical Controls Field Service Engineer - Leeds, West Yorkshire
Are you an experienced Electrical Controls Field Service Engineer with experience in PLC Programming and a strong Electrical and Mechanical background in Hydraulics?
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys varied work and will be given the opportunity to travel and work on customer sites in the UK & Overseas!
You will be working for a Worldwide manufacturing provider of high-pressure hydraulic equipment & systems, and electronic control systems.
This is a permanent opportunity based in Leeds where a company vehicle will be provided, offering a salary of £40,000-£43,000 with fast progression.
A Full UK Driving license is a MUST for the role!

Main duties will include:
As a skilled Electrical Controls Field Service Engineer, you will cover the following:
1. Developing control solutions for systems and applications
2. In-house programming and testing
3. On-Site Commissioning
4. Product development
5. Field service and customer support
6. Installation & Commission of new and refurbished equipment and systems
7. Working on site to fault find / diagnose machine problems and generate solutions
8. On-site maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical equipment
What skills will you have?
This will be a Field based role, so travel WILL be required.
The main factor of the role will be experience or expertise in PLC Programming.
1. Proven Experience in PLC Programming - Ladder, High Level Programming such as SCL
2. Experience in WinCC and HMI Designs
3. CAD Experience (AutoCad, Eplan, Solidworks) would be an advantage
4. Knowledge of Electrical controls legislation (Regs, LV Directive)
5. Rockwell PLC platforms would be an advantage
6. Excellent understanding of hydraulic and / or electrical system drawings and components
7. Excellent understanding of mechanical / engineering drawings
8. Experience calibrating flow, pressure, temperature and positional devices and instruments
MUST-HAVE skills:
The ideal candidate MUST HAVE at least 2-3 years of experience in the following:
1. Electrical Hardware
2. PLC Programming
3. Electrical Drawings/Circuits
4. Logic
5. Control Theory
6. Instrumentation
7. SCADA/IIOT
8. HMI Design
