We're looking for an Engine Mechanic/Approved Technician
Join our team in Stansted and play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a variety of engine types, including CFM56, LEAP, V2500, RB211, CF6, CF34, PW4000, PW1000G and Trent700. The position offers a competitive salary of up to £50,457.28 per annum, with an additional shift premium for all approvals held.
This is a shift-based role with the following pattern: 5/4/4/5/5/5 (7AM to 7PM).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Participate in maintenance and repair activities.
2. Work effectively to meet company objectives and turnaround times.
3. Ensure compliance with industry standards and all relevant manuals.
4. Promote a safe and efficient working environment.
5. Assist with company directives and strategies for business growth.
6. Maintain quality standards and adhere to Health and Safety policies.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Time served aerospace industry apprentice with at least 2 years' experience post-apprenticeship.
2. Experience in a busy engine shop with a previously held company approval on at least one listed engine type.
3. Knowledge of relevant ATA chapters, Part 145, and FAA regulations.
4. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
5. Flexible, team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
