Kamro have partnered with a well established law firm with over 30 years of experience delivering a great service to their wide range of clients. You’ll be joining their specialist team in the Bristol office, where you’ll have the opportunity to work on high quality cases and make a tangible difference to people’s lives.
As a Court of Protection Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload, ranging from Deputyship applications, Trust management, and supporting clients with brain injuries and other vulnerabilities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-centric environment, with an eagerness to develop their expertise while working alongside senior professionals.
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30am
Responsibilities
* Managing Court of Protection cases, including Welfare Deputyship applications, Personal Injury Trusts and Statutory Wills.
* Supporting vulnerable clients, including those with brain injuries in managing their property and financial affairs.
* Working alongside senior members of the department and providing litigation support where necessary.
* Maintaining high professional standards, including compliance with the SRA and Office of the Public Guardian Standards.
* Supervising and delegating tasks to paralegals and more junior staff.
Requirements
* You need to either be a Qualified Solicitor or a CILEx Legal Executive.
* Proven, established PQE in Court of Protection, Clinical Negligence or Wills and Probate law.
* Experience in handling complex and sensitive cases involving vulnerable individuals.
* Strong client relationship management skills and the ability to act with empathy and professionalism.
* Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and meet deadlines under pressure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
