Job summary The Radiology Directorate at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust requires cross-sectional Consultant Radiologists. The posts will be considered a cross site position however, we will aim for a key site base. The successful candidate must demonstrate skill in reporting not only general radiology but also in specialist imaging (Head & Neck, Urology, Breast of specialist interest). It is expected the candidate would take part in the Cancer MDT on a rotational basis. We are a progressive, busy department running across two sites with a team of 28 Consultant Radiologists. The posts would carry an on-call commitment. Basic interventional skills would be expected. We are a teaching unit with SpRs from the Kent Training scheme and medical students from the Kent and Medway Medical School. There is also opportunity to be involved in research and trials ongoing in the Oncology centre. We are able to offer home reporting facilities to encourage flexible, family friendly working.
