Assess student progress through coursework, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. Maintain a well-organized and safe learning environment within the DT workshops and classrooms. Remain abreast of current trends and technological advancements in DT education. Candidate Profile: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Design & Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). Demonstrate proven experience teaching DT at the secondary school level (Key Stages 3-5). Exhibit strong subject knowledge across a range of DT specialisms. Possess excellent practical skills and the ability to guide students in the safe use of tools and equipment.
