This position involves a variety of responsibilities in the realm of corporate taxation, covering compliance, financial reporting, and project initiatives. Tax Compliance Assisting the corporate tax manager in overseeing tax filing obligations across various regions within the organization. Collaborating with external advisors to enhance R&D credits and capital deduction opportunities. Calculating estimated tax payments and managing payment requests for tax-related disbursements. Contributing to the preparation of country-by-country reporting (CbCR) submissions. Providing support during tax audits. Tax Reporting Assisting in reporting tax-related information for subsidiary entities. Key tasks include: Estimating and reporting local tax liabilities by region. Estimating and reporting cash tax outflows. Reconciliation of tax data within financial reporting systems. Project Involvement The tax team is dedicated to identifying efficiency improvements and supporting key business projects. This role includes involvement in various initiatives, notably in simplifying legal entity structures. Candidate Profile We are seeking someone with a solid understanding of tax principles and the ability to communicate tax matters clearly to non-specialists. The role requires managing key advisory partnerships effectively. Technical Qualifications A professional background as an accountant or tax advisor (partially qualified individuals may be considered based on experience). Experience from either the practice or corporate sectors, or a combination of both. A demonstrated record in corporate tax matters. Knowledge of multiple tax jurisdictions and the ability to interpret and explain complex issues. Familiarity with identifying, quantifying, and managing tax-related risks. Competency in using IT systems and financial reporting software. Behavioral Attributes Strong communication skills and the ability to foster relationships with colleagues across different countries and departments, as well as with third-party advisors. A proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and driving change. Excellent time management skills, able to balance multiple tasks efficiently.
