Job summary SOUTHERN HEALTH NHS FOUNDATION TRUST Adult Mental Health Services Southampton Psychological Services Clinical Associate in Psychology An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Associate in Psychology with a clear commitment to working with people with severe and enduring mental health problems. The post holder will be part of the Southampton Psychological Services Team. We are a large, friendly and supportive team and have a wealth of clinical expertise. We are committed to supporting recovery for people with severe and enduring mental health problems by delivering high quality, evidence-based interventions. We are looking for someone who has well developed interpersonal, clinical and research skills. The post holder will work with a range of presentations, supporting group interventions, individual work and providing training to the wider team. Main duties of the job The Clinical Associate in Psychology will be required to support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the service, across all sectors of care; providing psychological assessment and psychological interventions under the supervision of a clinical psychologist, working independently according to an agreed plan and within the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures. To assist in clinically related administration, collection of statistics, development of audit and/or research projects across the service, teaching and project work.
