We are looking for a passionate candidate who can add value to our team and whom we can truly get behind to help develop professionally and as an individual. The Property Management Assistant position provides excellent exposure to the Block Management industry, working with in-house teams, property owners, industry colleagues, and a range of service providers.
This position is suitable for persons with experience in the Property Management sector or those with a similar professional services background looking to expand their skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Handling incoming reactive and planned repairs via email, telephone, and processing via our range of software.
2. Preparing contractors' work orders, obtaining quotations, and issuing instructions to contractors.
3. Working with in-house Property Managers in relation to handling planned and reactive repairs.
4. Gaining an excellent understanding of our software, particularly FixFlo. Processing all maintenance issues through FixFlo and monitoring them to ensure timely handling.
5. Conducting regular site inspections.
6. Liaising with property owners, clients, and suppliers.
7. Displaying a good level of professional communication skills via telephone, email, and letters.
Experience/Qualifications:
1. Property Management experience is desirable, especially within Block Management, but is not essential.
2. Willingness to learn and undertake training provided by the company if necessary.
3. Experience within the professional services industry.
4. Able to work within pressurized situations and within a busy office environment.
5. Able to display the ability to add value to a team.
6. Full UK driving licence.
7. Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and a trustworthy team player.
