This role offers an exciting opportunity to join an internationally recognised research team in mental health and suicide prevention based in DATAMIND, the MRC funded UK Mental Health Data Hub (see here) and the Wales Centre for Suicide Prevention and Self-Harm Research. This research group is transforming mental health outcomes through innovative research and policy development (read our REF 2021 impact case study here). We are seeking an exceptional Lecturer in Mental Health and/or Suicide Prevention Epidemiology to advance cutting-edge research and provide teaching and training opportunities in this critical public health field.
Key Responsibilities:
Spearhead high-impact quantitative research on suicide and self-harm prevention using large-scale data resources.
Publish high-quality papers in peer-reviewed journals and secure competitive research funding.
Deliver inspiring, research-led teaching in epidemiology and health data science, supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students.
