About the Pupil Support Assistant Role
The successful candidate will be working in an early years classroom (P2 and P3 in the first instance) supporting learners with the curriculum and enhancing play and learning. There will be one hour per day in the classroom (x 4 days) and 1.5 hours (for 1 x day).
The successful candidate will have excellent social and communication skills, able to 'think on your feet' and genuinely enjoy working with adults and children alike.
You will be able to follow instructions to support learners but also flexible enough to support learners with 'next steps' using your own intuition.
About the Play Assistant Role
The successful applicant will ideally have some experience of working in a Nursery setting and a school setting.
We are looking for someone who is able to communicate with the best spoken skills to engage and motivate learners.
The work in the Nursery involves lunch experience as well as supporting the smooth running of play and learning in a nursery alongside our team of Early Childhood Practitioners.
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, motivated and willing to work as part of a busy team. You will be someone who can think on their feet, be flexible and truly enjoy working with our youngest learners.
