Residential Development Solicitor – Reading or Guildford
Are you passionate about real estate development and looking to join a market-leading team? We are seeking a driven Residential Development Solicitor to join our expert team in Reading or Guildford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in housebuilding as well as niche developers across England and Wales. Whether you're newly qualified or have up to 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), we want to hear from you.
About the Role:
This multi-faceted role offers a wide variety of responsibilities, including:
* Large-scale and complex land acquisitions for household names
* Structuring collaboration agreements between developers
* Managing disposals of serviced parcels to Housing Associations and other developers
* Advising on funding arrangements, strategic options, and urban regeneration projects
You will be joining a Residential Development team that exclusively partners with housebuilders. Our team of over 200 specialists is the largest of its kind in the UK, working with all of the top 10 housebuilders and 18 of the top 20. We handle new residential developments of up to 6,500 homes and offer a comprehensive acquisition-to-disposal service.
You’ll also have the support of dedicated teams in Litigation, Planning, and Construction, ensuring a full-service approach to client work.
About You:
We are looking for a Solicitor with:
* A passion for real estate, especially land acquisition and development
* Up to 4 years PQE, with experience working with housebuilder clients or a strong commercial property background
* A commitment to growing and developing your expertise in residential development law
* A collaborative approach and desire to learn from experienced team leaders
