The Building Services Manager (Mechanical– Water) will be responsible for developing the technical standards for the Estate mechanical assets to support future maintenance/refurbishment/replacement requirements as well as being the deputy responsible person, lead on legionella improvements and managing the day-to-day legionella activities. You will develop and integrate maintenance standards (SFG20) for mechanical and water assets within Planon our integrated workplace management system (IWMS) to ensure effective maintenance of mechanical assets.
There will be a focus on developing and expanding on planned (mechanical) maintenance and you will be the key stakeholder for representing mechanical asset and legionella requirements on the Estates Development team projects. You will have responsibility for managing the ongoing maintenance and upgrading of the University's mechanical assets to maintain condition to acceptable standards, forecasting lifecycle financial implications, asset risk reporting, managing backlog and informing the Capital Programme as required.
You will require hold at least an HND or equivalent in a relevant discipline with significant post qualification experience.
