We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic One-to-One Academic Tutor to join our team, delivering tailored tuition in Maths or English to students who need extra support outside the classroom. We currently work closely with Northumberland local authority on providing tutors to young people who are out of education for a number of different reasons. Please see below for further information; Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging, high-quality one-to-one tuition sessions in either Maths or English across a range of key stages Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs Maintain accurate records of student progress and session outcomes through our dedicated tuition platform (full training to be provided) Liaise with parents/carers and other stakeholders to ensure consistent support Inspire confidence and motivation in students of all abilities Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential Subject specialism in Maths or English Experience working with learners on a one-to-one or small group basis is desirable Strong communication and organisational skills Passion for helping students achieve their full potential What We Offer: Flexible working hours to suit your schedule Opportunities to work in a range of educational settings (including remote options) Supportive and collaborative team environment Ongoing CPD and professional development All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
