Then this could be the role for you We are looking to appoint Senior Healthcare Support Workers to join our established team on Maple Ward. Our ward consists of 22 surgical beds, 3 HOB beds and a surgical assessment unit offering highly skilled ambulatory care. Maple Ward supports a wide variety of surgical disciplines including general surgery, urology and gynaecology and works closely with the surgical teams and our surgical day unit. The post holder will be required to provide basic patient care, assisting with all activities of living including hygiene and personal grooming, nutrition, and continence care. They will also carry out routine patient observations and screening as well as have the opportunity to expand there skill set to complete ECG's, phlebotomy and develop a knowledge of basic wound care. Main duties of the job The job description outlines the primary role and responsibilities of a Senior Health Care Support Worker.
