Our client is an established manufacturing business looking for an experienced financial accountant with an excellent understanding of accounting principles to play a vital role in the organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with the VP, taking responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations, tax returns, P&L reviews and year-end reporting. Location: Birmingham Contract Length: 3 months Contract hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week Salary: £350-375 per day
Key Responsibilities of the Interim Financial Accountant
* Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
* Maintaining spreadsheets and databases to monitor and compile financial data
* Producing end of year financial statements and preparing the annual budget
* Conducting internal audits and monitoring of internal controls
* Ad hoc tasks to support the wider finance team
Key Essentials of the Interim Financial Accountant
* Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Personable, excellent communication skills
* Minimum 3 years experience working as a financial accountant
* Advanced excel skills
