If you are successfully appointed to this role you will be eligible for a two-stage New Starter Premium of £1500 in total.
Main duties of the job
You must have excellent clinical skills, be proactive and self-motivated, but most importantly have a passion for maintaining high standards of care for our patients.
You will assess and treat a joint caseload of burns, plastics, and head and neck patients both as inpatients and outpatients in order to maximise patient recovery and function.
You will work closely with our discharge coordinator team to facilitate safe and timely discharges for our inpatients.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
To provide a high standard Occupational Therapy service to a specialist caseload of complex burns, plastics and head and neck patients.
To provide comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments and treatments to patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions.
Person specification
Qualifications
* Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy or able to demonstrate specialist knowledge within this field through practical experience
* Evidence of successful completion of relevant specialist short courses or post graduate training or equivalent experience
Experience
* Significant experience as a basic grade Occupational Therapist with a broad range of experiences
* Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team
