Hyper SQ is recruiting for a UX Designer to join an exciting, fast-paced team.
You will join a growing team that encourages innovation and contribution from everyone.
This is a highly collaborative role working with cross functional teams to deliver user experience design and evolve Hyper SQ’s digital experience across a number of products and services. This role will have a real impact on the success of the business and the engagement of its users.
What you’ll be doing
You will be working within an Agile software development team, working alongside experienced software engineers, creating services that power our revolutionary web and native mobile applications.
1. Designing intuitive and elegant solutions that solve user and business problems and meet specification requirements.
2. Using user-centred design principles and practices to shape the user journey.
3. Iterative user testing and qualitative analysis.
4. Developing design systems and rapid prototyping.
5. Working with product management to create and scope product design briefs and see them through to delivery.
Skills & Requirements
1. 3+ years professional experience in UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing web and app-based projects.
2. A good understanding of user-centred design and interaction design principles.
3. UX research methods and usability testing.
4. Strong knowledge of application design practices, technologies and methodologies, especially design systems and their components.
5. Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools e.g. Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator.
6. Strong communication skills and ability to present findings to various stakeholders.

What you can expect from our recruitment process
1. A quick response with helpful feedback at all stages.
2. Check-in call with our Head of Talent.
3. 45 minute video conversation with members of the leadership team.
4. 90 minute video call where you’ll present a section of your portfolio, talk about your approach to UX challenges and take part in a (hopefully fun) whiteboard exercise.
