We have an opportunity for a Finance Administrator to join our Accounts team at our office in Hayle on a full-time, fixed-term basis for a period of 12 months. Part-time hours would be considered for the right candidate. The role will provide support to the Management Accountants in the Group. You will be involved in a varied range of tasks assisting with the day-to-day operations of the team. Main Duties Include: Daily/Weekly Reconciliation of daily booking transactions Bank reconciliations Process booking adjustments and cancellations Process and reconcile supplier payments Respond to a wide range of queries from both internal and external stakeholders Monthly Process and reconcile owner payments Guest insurance declarations to our third-party provider Process and reconcile credit card expenditure Reconcile the Fixed Asset Register Month end management accounts across group Quarterly NRL returns to HMRC VAT returns Annually Departmental budgets Yearend management accounts Preparation of financial audit files Annual returns to companies’ house NRL submissions and certificates Required Skills and Experience: Previous experience in a similar role In possession of, or working towards, a recognised accounting qualification (support will be given for ongoing professional studies) Good knowledge of routine finance processes Exposure to accounting software, particularly Sage 50 and Xero, would be an advantage A hands-on approach to getting the job done Benefits include: Performance related bonus scheme, approx. £2,500 per annum 33 days holiday including bank holidays, plus a day off for your birthday Company pension Life insurance Long service enhanced benefits Discounted holidays within our portfolio Please apply online to this vacancy by 30th November 2024.
