Murphy is recruiting for a Materials Coordinator to work with the Energy Team on the SSE ASTI Project.

A day in the life of a Murphy Materials Coordinator:
1. Raising Material Requisitions in accordance with the Designers’ MTOs and relevant data sheets.
2. Liaising with the Operations leads and project PMs regarding all aspects of ordering materials, manufacturing status, and deliveries.
3. Establishing and maintaining a listing of all permanent materials in accordance with purchase orders / requisitions (Material Schedule).
4. Highlighting any problems resulting from inspections and raising necessary Over / Short / Damaged Reports or Quality Observations as required.
5. Setting up and maintaining all site material control records and certification.
6. Conducting storage inspections of material and equipment to verify correct storage and handling.
7. Issuing material against authorized requisitions.
8. Collating all materials' certification and data packages for inclusion in the handover documentation.
9. Reconciliation of materials upon completion of the contract.
10. Monitoring activities and conducting inspection and expediting duties as required by approved Quality Plans and Purchase Orders, at relevant vendors' premises, ensuring vendors conduct all necessary inspections and testing.
11. Producing and issuing Material Inspection Reports.
12. Reviewing and approving vendor certification packages.
