Contract: Full-Time & Permanent Location: Dyce, Aberdeen Role: Graduate Project Engineer Overview: Major Recruitment are currently supporting our fast-growing client in recruiting for a Graduate Project Engineer to join their business at this exciting time. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of projects, overseeing technical, engineering, planning, administrative, and quality aspects, and ensuring seamless execution of assigned tasks. Duties: Proactively manage and oversee all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring effective and timely delivery. Communicate clearly and professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders. Collaborate with the sales team to identify business opportunities, and assist in preparing tenders, bids, and quotations. Develop and manage work packs, including technical drawings, work orders, bills of materials (BOMs), inspection and test plans, test procedures, work instructions, and other related documentation. Monitor and track project spending, coordinating with the procurement team to ensure budget compliance. Oversee all commercial and technical aspects of assigned projects, ensuring successful project outcomes. Manage and update project folders, databases, and reports in accordance with the company's accredited Quality Management System (QMS) Represent the company in client meetings, presenting on ongoing, potential, and future projects. Travel onshore and offshore, both locally and internationally, to oversee and support project execution in operational and supervisory capacities. Requirements: Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience Self-motivated with a proactive approach to professional growth. Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices, with particular expertise in mechanical engineering. Proficient in standard software packages, including financial tools, CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Autodesk Inventor would be beneficial however full training will be provided. Valid and clean driving license.
