This role provides an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, results focused individual to shape and deliver exciting projects of work to support health boards/trust to improve the delivery of maternity and neonatal services across Wales. The post holder will support the Network Manager with the design and delivery of the work plans. They will monitor and report against identified key performance indicators, using a variety of data sources. They will lead in stakeholder engagement, and communication strategy, building effective relationships with clinical and managerial colleagues both internal and external to the Network. The post holder will work closely with the Network Manager, Clinical Leads, partners and wider Network team to develop systems of work that facilitate quality improvement and assurance in line with the performance and planning framework and ministerial priorities. The post holder will support the Network Manager in the production of an Annual Report / statements of progress, identifying quality improvements and performance against Network priorities and providing project management for specific areas of the work programme. The post holder will develop relationships with clinicians, Health Boards, Commissioners and other stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of strategic change in line with standards and policy specific to the Network. There is an expectation that the post holder will adopt a flexible approach to supporting the Networks as appropriate, with the agreement of the Network Manager.
