Training Instructor
Reporting to: ILS & Training Manager
Job Scope
The position holder will be a key member of the team developing, planning, and delivering training for the clients equipment and some third party equipment in the Naval, Surveillance and Government market sectors.
The job will involve travel within the UK and overseas.
As part of this role, the holder is expected to show motivation and initiative in planning their own activities so as to achieve timely and effective results with little supervision.
As this is a customer-facing role, a confident manner and smart appearance is required, with the ability to communicate clearly within the company at all levels and with customers whose first language may not be English.
Job Functions
* Developing, planning, and presenting training courses for the range of their equipment, systems and certain third party equipment.
* Support a culture of continuous improvement.
* Take a proactive role in the growth and development of the company.
* Travel in the UK and if overseas when required to carry out training.
* Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the products. This may involve accompanying Engineers in the field carrying out service interventions.
