The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award supports young people on their journey of self-development, helping them discover their strengths, passions, and roles in their communities. For nearly seventy years, the Award has empowered young people to transform their lives and contribute to society. In 1998, the International Award Foundation and Association were established to lead the Award internationally.
Globally, more than a million young people across 120+ countries and territories are taking on the Award’s challenge, unlocking their potential, creating meaningful change in their communities, and shaping their futures. The Association works to ensure even more young people worldwide can embrace the Award’s transformative challenge. The Foundation provides the resources and support needed to achieve this shared mission.
Under new leadership, the Foundation is embarking on an ambitious strategic plan to expand global participation. The Development team at the Foundation secures vital funds to drive this agenda, and the Fundraising Manager - Strategic Projects plays a key role in advancing this mission by unlocking opportunities from underrepresented sources, including grant-making organisations, as well as unlocking corporate donors through our network of senior volunteers.

3. Combine exceptional research with compelling written communication to secure support for the Foundation’s vision.
4. Collaborate with colleagues across continents and cultures.
