To protect the highly regarded reputation of the Company, it is important to maintain the quality of all our products. To further support our Quality by Design mantra, Glasdon UK Limited is looking to recruit a professional Quality Assurance Inspector to assist with systematic inspection and testing of products, materials, and tooling.
The successful candidate will be provided with full and comprehensive support and training.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Conduct quality inspections and testing of incoming stock, audits of outgoing products, and additional audits throughout the production lifecycle.
* Conduct environmental stress testing, accelerated aging tests, and performance evaluations.
* Ensure stringent compliance with evolving environmental and health & safety regulations.
* Process customer returns.
* Provide technical support to the Customer Support team.
* Report and advise on product quality data and investigate defects to drive corrective actions.
* Work collaboratively with Product Designers during new product development.
* Maintain accurate and extensive technical files, quality records, and compliance documentation.
Ideal Candidate Background:
* Qualifications in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, or related technical field.
* Commercial experience of progressive QA and quality control.
* Experience of manufacturing tangible non-FMCG products.
* Excellent IT, literacy, numerical, and analytical skills.
* Competent with testing and inspection equipment (gauges, impact, accelerated weather testing, etc.).
* A confident, proactive individual with good communication skills.
* Familiar with ISO 14001:2015 / 9001:2015, ESG, UN Sustainable Development Goals, environmental regulations, safety standards, and supplier auditing.
* Excellent attention to detail.

Terms and Conditions:
* Full-time, permanent position.
* Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm (subject to the needs of the role).
* 30-minute lunch break.
* Monthly pay in arrears by the 28th day of each month.
