Electrical Project Engineer
Our client, a British energy infrastructure company, is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for a contract position of 12 months (Inside IR35) in Isle of Grain location.
Role
The Electrical Project Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the Terminal Program Delivery Manager, ensuring the effective administration of various project work scopes within the asset Re-life extension team. This role involves overseeing the coordination of all project stages and reviewing all aspects of the Contractor’s design to ensure efficient delivery.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure the technical adequacy of engineering and design, including reviewing Contractor deliverables and collaborating with the Contractor.
* Coordinate the development of pre-contract scope, specification, and programme, understanding contractual requirements.
* Manage/resolving the Management of Change program (MOC), coordinating purchase requisitions, and monitoring suppliers’ compliance with purchase order conditions.
* Oversee several high-profile projects, including managing Phase 1 Tank Base Heating Replacement, Phase 1 Tanks In tank and ex-tank Pump cable seal replacement, LV Low voltage and HV High voltage switchgear upgrades, and assessing onsite Back up Power requirements.
* Support Engineers in Process, Mechanical, Control & Instrumentation with Electrical input for various projects.
* Support site HAZOP Action Closure, Condition Monitoring of rotating equipment, and Safety Instrument Function Improvements.
