This is a pivotal role, responsible for managing the end-to-end bid process, ensuring submissions meet client requirements while showcasing our expertise and value proposition. Role Overview As the Traffic Management Bid Manager, you will oversee the preparation, coordination, and submission of high-quality bid proposals. You will work collaboratively with internal teams and key stakeholders to ensure all bids align with client expectations, company objectives, and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities Bid Strategy: Develop and implement effective bid strategies to maximise success rates. Bid Leadership: Manage the end-to-end bid process, coordinating input from sales, technical, and operational teams. Content Development: Write, edit, and review bid content to ensure clarity, consistency, and persuasiveness. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for bid-related communications, liaising with clients and internal teams to gather information and provide updates. Quality Assurance: Ensure all bids meet client specifications, company standards, and compliance requirements. Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior management to develop winning propositions and pricing strategies. Pipeline Management: Maintain and update the bid pipeline, ensuring all deadlines are met and opportunities are tracked. Continuous Improvement: Analyse feedback from submitted bids to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices. Knowledge Management: Build and maintain a library of bid content, case studies, and templates for future use. About You You are an experienced and results driven professional with a proven track record in bid management. Your excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills enable you to deliver high-quality bids on time, even under pressure. Essential Skills and Experience Proven experience as a Bid Manager, ideally within traffic management, construction, or a related industry. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive and engaging content. Solid understanding of tender processes, bid governance, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and PowerPoint. Familiarity with CRM systems and bid tracking tools is an advantage. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
