Job Description Business Development Executive (12 month secondment) Full-Time Derby/Hybrid (3 days a week on-site) What you will be doing An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive to join the Business Development Team in Aerospace Procurement. Reporting to the VP Business Development, you will develop key strategies across a broad range of areas, and lead business development / strategic projects driving significant transformation in our business. Responsibilities In this role you will ensure corporate and customer requirements from Civil, Defence and others are fully captured and understood as part of strategy formation. Develop, maintain and communicate/gain approval for the overall strategic plan. This will involve w orking closely with senior stakeholders in both Aerospace Procurement and Civil Manufacturing to ensure the need for strategic activity is both understood and enabled. Creating and delivering the strategic leadership and vision across our portfolio of integrated commodity strategies and strategy processes. Understanding future programme supply chain requirements, and consequentially determining and enacting our Make vs Buy and Do/Buy strategies, driving technology, supply-chain restructuring, capability acquisition and innovation across Aerospace Procurement and Civil Manufacturing. Creation and development of Country level Procurement / Manufacturing strategies to realise a Group Country level strategy. Creation and development of strategies for our key RRSP Partners. Creation and development of strategies for our Joint Operations (JVs). Leading Business Development / Strategic projects across the portfolio of Aerospace Procurement and Civil Manufacturing. This can include special projects (e.g. M&A, Disposals, JV creation) as required. Why Rolls-Royce?
