This dual-focused role offers the opportunity to work across project delivery and compliance management in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Role Overview
The role encompasses two primary focus areas:
* Project Delivery (60%): Supporting the planning, execution, and successful delivery of client projects.
* Compliance Management (40%): Ensuring adherence to relevant standards and certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ISO 20000, Cyber Essentials, and Investors in People (IIP).
Key Responsibilities Project Delivery
* Lead and manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines.
* Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.
* Assist with the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
* Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
* Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
* Measure project performance using suitable project management tools and techniques.
* Establish and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication.
* Delegate project tasks based on team members' individual strengths and expertise.
* Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Compliance Management
* Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and practices to meet ISO and other compliance standards.
* Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance, identify non-conformities, and resolve issues.
* Oversee the creation, revision, and control of compliance documentation.
* Prepare the organisation for external audits and certification processes.
* Deliver training programs to ensure employees understand compliance requirements.
* Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for compliance performance.
* Stay informed about changes in standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring updates to systems and processes.
* Promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
Essential Skills & ExperienceMust-Have
* Proven experience in project management or coordination.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office.
* Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 27001.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage high-stress situations.
* Approachable and personable, capable of interacting with a variety of stakeholders.
Desirable
* PRINCE2, PMP, or ITIL certifications.
* Experience in the MSP or IT services sector.
* Knowledge of Cyber Essentials and Investors in People standards.
* Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) or ERP systems.
