Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Tutor to deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to a diverse caseload of learners. You will ensure compliance with regulatory bodies (Ofsted, ESFA, EPAOs) and support learners through their qualification journey, maintaining engagement and timely progress. The role includes online delivery, employer engagement, and ensuring learners are fully prepared for End Point Assessment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching aligned with the Education Inspection Framework (EIF) Provide a blended learning approach tailored to individual learners' needs Deliver Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours in line with apprenticeship standards and EPAO assessment plans Conduct learner assessments within occupational competence Complete initial assessments, including CognAssist screening for Learning Support Funding (LSF) Carry out regular learner progress reviews to ensure retention and cover knowledge gaps Maintain compliance with ESFA requirements and ensure learners complete their programmes on time Challenge and stretch learners to maximize their potential Manage all required documentation for funding compliance and upload to relevant platforms Engage with learners and employers regularly to ensure consistent learning progress Organize and conduct enrolments, teaching sessions, and learner reviews in advance Ensure support for additional learning and social needs, making necessary adjustments Promote opportunities for learners to progress onto further learning (e.g., Level 3 from Level 2) Embed Safeguarding, Equality & Diversity, Prevent, and British Values into teaching Maintain and update learner e-portfolios and Virtual Learning Environments Monitor learner progress, manage risks to planned end dates, and escalate issues when necessary Stay up to date with ESFA funding rules and internal quality standards Perform additional duties relevant to the role as required What We Are Looking For: Experience in Early Years education and training Teaching qualification Functional Skills Maths and English at Level 2 Strong organisational and time management skills Effective communication and presentation skills (including virtual delivery) Ability to work independently and collaboratively High level of interpersonal skills and motivation Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and online learning platforms Commitment to continuous professional development and industry updates Location Northwest - Merseyside, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cumbria and Cheshire area.
