In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of category pricing strategy, collaborating closely with buyers to drive performance and profitability across a diverse range of products in our stores. We’ll look to you to use your analytical expertise to provide data-driven insights and recommendations that will influence the direction of our pricing strategy. You'll have the creative freedom to innovate, helping us shape the future of pricing through exciting projects like our Electronic Shelf Edge Label initiative, where you’ll test and implement pioneering pricing models that set new industry standards. What you’ll do Partner with buyers to manage cost movements, aligning prices with business goals and making sure we have competitive positioning across categories Create pricing scenarios and review the financial impact of proposed prices changes Conduct in-depth reviews with buying teams to assess pricing strategies and recommend adjustments to stay competitive Manage the lifecycle of pricing changes, from modelling impacts to making sure we align with our customers expectations Be a key part of our electronic shelf edge label project, analysing how the technology can be used for pricing strategies, improving customer experience and operational efficiency Track competitor pricing activity, providing insights and recommendations to maintain our competitive edge Handle customer pricing complaints quickly and effectively Collaborate with the Pricing Manager on strategic projects beyond business-as-usual processes This role would suit people who have Experience in running reports and model pricing changes; with the ability to use data to make informed decisions Experience in pricing or finance roles where you’ve had to understand the impact of price adjustments on profitability and market positioning The ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and influence buying decisions through compelling insights The ability to manage multiple pricing amendments, making sure all reporting and decision-making is accurate A proactive approach to handling customer complaints; resolving issues with data providers and providing effective pricing solutions Why Co-op?
