The Role
My client is seeking an experienced and vibrant Community Manager to lead and oversee the operations of their residential community. As the leader of the onsite team, you will ensure excellence across all departments, including customer service, facilities management, health and safety, and leasing. You will also manage the residential operating budget and work closely with the Regional Head of Operations to enhance business processes and build internal standard operating procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the onsite team to ensure outstanding resident experiences.
* Managing the operating budget for the site.
* Overseeing day-to-day operations, including maintenance, safety, and customer service standards.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and statutory obligations.
* Collaborating with the central mobilisation team to ensure a smooth transition from development to operational status.
* Recruiting, training, and developing cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service.
* Identifying opportunities for business process improvements and implementing solutions.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll likely have:
* Previous experience in the Build-to-Rent (BTR) sector, property management, hospitality, or leisure industries at a management level.
* A passion for customer service and a dedication to ensuring excellence in every aspect of resident interaction.
* Strong knowledge of building operations, statutory requirements, and health and safety regulations.
* A collaborative working style with the ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team.
* Excellent communication skills—clear, calm, and engaging.
* An organized and methodical approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
* High attention to detail, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
