We are recruiting for a Operations Clerk within our Warehouse Team. As a Warehouse Operations Clerk, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the administration of your department is completed as well as supporting the department with any operational activities as required. There will also be times when you will need to support the Warehouse team.
You’ll work closely with the Senior Operations Clerks, Team Managers to ensure that all paperwork within your team is completed accurately & goods within the warehouse function are received properly.
Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm (rotating shift pattern)
Area of Responsibility: Goods In
•Receiving Supplier deliveries on site and accurate intake of purchase order. •Accurately signing Supplier paperwork against purchase order. •Purchase order cross reference. •Control IDT’s and cross docks, •Checking Goods In bookings. •Arrange Supplier uplifts. •Check pallets – Completing required audits and arrange any returns. •Working with the FLT drivers to ensure the job is getting done effectively and safely. •Monitoring FLT work. •Completing store mark outs once authorised by Line Manager. •Issuing kit to associates. •Resolving any AMT / HHT lockouts. •Resolving fresh abandoned pallets. •Printing pick sheets from Exceed & WMS •Making sure stock levels are kept correct from pick faces to reserves. •Ensuring the handover is complete and any issues are communicated via shifts.
Person Specification
•GCSE Maths and English grade C or above (or equivalent level numeric and literacy skills) •PC Literate (especially Excel) •Ability to analyse verbal and numeric data. •Able to work on own initiative and under pressure. •Ability to work as part of a team. •Good time management and organizational skills. •Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing environment.
