Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, expected to work full-time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £120 - £140 per day Job Duties: Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students across various subjects and age groups Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher or create own lesson plans when necessary Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and school administration Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Relevant teaching qualification Enhanced DBS check Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Prior experience in a teaching role is preferred Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students Organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively Preferred Qualifications: Experience working as a supply teacher in a variety of educational settings Additional subject specialisms or qualifications Working Conditions: Work in school settings following the academic calendar, typically Monday to Friday during school hours May require travel to different schools within the designated area Opportunities for continuous professional development and training All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
