Holt Engineering Recruitment are looking for a Stores Person to join one of their clients based in Edinburgh.
As the Stores Person, you will play a vital role within the company, supporting the business in the upkeep and organization of the on-site store.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and handle shipping, loading, and unloading of products.
2. Organize and maintain records of inventories.
3. Process received deliveries and distribute to the factory efficiently.
4. Process production orders and all other material/component requests to the factory.
5. Manage inventory as well as warehouse, transportation, and other logistics processes.
6. Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding logistics.
7. Delivery driving of company van to deliver materials.
8. Forklift operating.
9. Recognize continuous improvement and implement processes where needed.
Key Skills Required:
1. Previous experience working within Stores or Logistics is essential.
2. Great understanding of supply chain, inventory, and distribution.
3. Excellent attention to detail.
4. Previous systems experience & able to use PC programmes.
5. Forklift licence.
6. Full UK driving licence.
This position is Monday to Friday working 8am - 5pm with flexible start/finish times up to 1 hour. The role is paying £12.30-£14.50ph.
