The role of Retail Operations Partner sits within our friendly and innovative Retail department.
Your Role
You can expect to be managing day to day activities to ensure smooth and efficient store operations including communication, customer service and compliance with company polices to deliver retail strategy and objectives.
1. Develop retail operational policies and procedures, involving key stakeholders.
2. Work closely with the Retail Operations Manager on the implementation of new systems & initiatives.
3. Operational support documentation creation for key events (EOSS, Christmas, Peak)
4. Work closely with third parties to develop training in retail processes and procedures.
5. Ensure all communications are clear, concise and motivational, using internal platforms to deliver and maintain effective communication to store teams.
6. Work with Internal Communications to cascade any Company information to the retail teams.
7. Prepare and contribute content for Retail twice weekly newsletter communication.
8. Design and maintain the Company Intranet to maximise engagement, inclusivity and motivation.
9. Implement incentives in line with Retail objectives and budgets.
10. Manage and deliver Retail Conferences to timescale and budget.
11. Support new store opening, resite and closure operations.
12. Data analysis to support improvements and compliance (audit, stock and cash management).
13. Report building to support store understanding of performance and measurables.
14. Negotiate and influence pricing architecture with suppliers to support and drive cost efficiencies.
15. Awareness of service expectations to deliver an in store customer experience unique to Joules.

From a technical and operational perspective, it would also be advantageous if you have:
25. A strong working knowledge of retail operations processes and policies.
26. Strong time management and prioritisation skills to manage deliverable workload.
27. Proficiency in Google software and systems.
28. Excellent interpersonal communication skills across all levels with the ability to influence where appropriate.
29. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to drive change and continuous improvement.
30. Ability to listen and prioritise store feedback to effect change or resolve queries.
31. Strong customer service skills.
32. Experience in inventory and compliance management.
33. Strong team player with workplace leadership experience.
34. Ability to work independently, sometimes remotely and as part of a team
Where will you be working?
This is a full time role based at ‘The Barn’ - this is Joules’ purpose built Head Office in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. Built in 2020, our team benefits from a creative, collaborative and open plan working environment that boasts comfort and exceptional design. It’s truly a great place to work.
We value your dedication and understand the importance of balance. This role is office based and typically requires 5 days a week working onsite, as we believe this is where we make the best decisions together. We do offer discretionary flexibility to support your needs and help you navigate life's demands as and when your work allows.
