About the Role:
Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the future of Defence infrastructure? Join our Engineering team at DIO supporting the FNICAP programme, where you’ll ensure the replacement and refurbishment of plant and equipment meets modern standards and regulations. ⚙️
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Manage requirements and acceptance processes across multi-discipline projects
✅ Produce and maintain detailed requirement specifications
✅ Lead interface management between engineering teams
✅ Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and process systems
✅ Utilise requirements management software effectively
✅ Support Project Engineers and Project Managers with expert guidance
✅ Conduct regular project governance reviews
✅ Assess technical deliverables from consultants and contractors
Qualifications
Essential Skills & Experience:
Degree in a relevant Engineering or Scientific discipline
Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (or working towards)
Desirable Skills & Experience:
✨ Exceptional attention to detail
✨ Ability to work independently and collaboratively
✨ Experience in highly regulated industries
✨ Confident engaging with stakeholders of all levels
✨ Defence experience (HMNB Clyde ideal) ⚓
✨ Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
✨ Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering ⚙️
✨ INCOSE ASEP/CSEP Systems Engineer certification
✨ Experience with PLM systems (Windchill, Teamcenter)
✨ Skilled in IBM DOORs/Dimensions RM or similar tools
