Job Description
They are seeking an Intermediate Commercial or Commercial Manager to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing commercial activities across various projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management: Oversee the commercial aspects of multiple fit-out projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
2. Financial Management: Prepare, monitor, and report on project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow. Identify and mitigate financial risks throughout the project life cycle.
3. Contract Administration: Review and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring terms are favourable and risks are minimised.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure effective communication and alignment on project deliverables and timelines.
5. Cost Control: Conduct regular cost analysis and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality standards.
6. Reporting: Provide timely and accurate reports on project financial performance, including monthly management accounts and forecasts.
7. Team Leadership: Support and mentor junior commercial staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a commercial management role within the fit-out and refurbishment sector.
3. Strong understanding of commercial contracts and financial management principles.
4. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
