The Head of Finance / Financial Controller will oversee the finance function for an exciting and growing construction / engineering sector company. Reporting to the CFO and Managing Director, you will take a hands-on role in leading the department and providing key support to the business decision-making process and financial reporting.

Description
As the Head of Finance, you will be required to manage the finance department as well as taking responsibility for the HR and IT departments of this growing business.
Key duties will include:
* Overseeing the Production of the Annual Statutory Accounts
* Preparing the Monthly Management Accounts
* Preparing Key Performance Indicators
* Providing Commercial Analysis and Commercial Support across all areas of the business
* Creating Budgets, Forecasts and Strategic Plans
* Reviewing and Implementing an IT and HR strategy to help the business grow
* Managing key external stakeholders such as Auditors, Banks, and Insurance Brokers
* Ensuring robust Financial Control Procedures are in place and adhered to
* Managing cash-flow and Treasury
* Managing Asset Financing / Loans as appropriate
Profile
The Head of Finance role must have strong experience in Contract Accounting including CVRs, Sub-contractors, reverse charge VAT, CIS, etc., ideally gained within a construction or engineering environment.
You will be commercially astute and an excellent communicator, able to analyze data and present to the business in a value-added fashion.
