Salary: London: £46,172 - £47,560. Cheltenham/Manchester/Buckinghamshire: £43,900 - £45,310

As a Procurement Manager, you’ll combine your knowledge of procurement processes with an ability to lead by example. Working across a range of unique procurement projects, you’ll gather requirements, liaise with suppliers and keep customers informed with progress updates. You’ll also task manage a small team of people, sharing your expertise and enhancing their impact through the continuous development of working practices and approaches.
You could be working with our Customer Facing Teams, managing relationships, developing commercial solutions and agreeing the future pipeline and prioritisation of the workbook. Or, you might be supporting Commercial Delivery within Category Teams across Technology, Estates, People and Professional Services, and the Supply Chain Security Team. We also have roles in Commercial Operations, where you’ll be responsible for Low Value Procurements, Policy, Audit, and Management Information.
Whichever area you’re supporting, you’ll bring commercial acumen, customer focus and knowledge of procurement processes to the role. With your experience working in a procurement and supply chain service, you’ll ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met while providing sustainable cost savings and value-added interventions. You’ll apply best practice procurement principles to all you do. Motivated and enthusiastic, you’ll approach tasks with positivity and develop strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and the team around you.
You’ll have, or be willing to study towards, a professional procurement qualification such as CIPS (or equivalent). You’ll also have experience in at least one of the following: contract management, sourcing, procurement policy and assurance, supply chain or low value procurement and invoicing.
We are particularly interested in individuals who have experience of contracting for Cloud or Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled services OR experience using AI or other Cloud enabled platforms in commercial delivery. You’ll be working closely with the AI team undertaking projects across the business, so you’ll be prepared to onboard AI with suppliers and have a genuine interest in AI capabilities.
