About the Role
The Head of Pricing & Commercial is a newly created role which is a pivotal role in improving commercial returns across our vendor and customer portfolio, globally. This role blends financial expertise, stakeholder management, and strategic insight to drive real business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and shape the firm’s pricing agenda, identifying new opportunities and closing off threats across our Worldwide landscape.
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders including Functional Heads and Product Engineering.
* Develop and deliver vendor and customer insights through various channels.
* Responsible for owning the price modelling and deployment tool
* Foster collaboration between the wider business to enhance commercial strategy.
* Provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making and maximize value-add opportunities.
* Influence and communicate effectively with financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
Strategic mindset: Creative, curious, and comfortable challenging existing processes.
* First class e-commerce and cross border experience
* Strong commercial skills: Instinctively price-driven. The ability to instinctively navigate the ever-changing pricing market in order to ensure we are ahead of the competition.
* Influencing skills: Confidence to engage senior stakeholders and shape commercial strategy.
* Analytical expertise: Strong financial acumen with experience in data analysis and strategic decision-making.
* Adaptability: Able to thrive in a fast-changing environment and adjust priorities as needed.
* Excellent communication skills: Able to explain complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
* Technology savvy: Strong IT skills, with an understanding of emerging trends in digital and data technologies.
Qualifications & Experience:
* 5+ years of experience in a similar role, buying, or related field in e-commerce or a product-driven business.
* Experience in generating target COGS and customer offers conducive to best market positioning and maximised profit margins
* Experience working with global teams, manufacturing partners, and product development workflows.
* Conduct competitive analysis and market assessments to identify high-impact opportunities.
* Proven track record of identifying and implementing value-added opportunities.
* Experience managing senior stakeholders and delivering strategic initiatives
* Exceptional analytical skills, using a data first approach drive prioritization and decision-making.
* A proactive and adaptable problem solver with a drive to continuously improve and optimize our commercial offering
* Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing environments, and contribute as a collaborative team player.
Nice to Have
* Experience in print-on-demand, e-commerce in a B2C environment.
* Strong understanding of print production processes, specialty printing techniques, and supplier relationships.
* Awareness and interest in global print market trends
* Familiarity with pricing models for high-volume and on-demand printing.
* Understanding of print processes and production workflows.
