About the Role
Transport Operations Officer to provide and support a safe and efficient operating environment for pedestrians and vehicles on all University campuses; helping to maximise the use of established transport facilities throughout the campus; discourage unauthorised mobility behaviour whilst exercising restraint and discretion and always giving due respect to all.
The successful candidate will be carrying out a range of duties supporting inspections, marshalling services and safety patrols; assist in providing traffic supervision throughout the campuses in relation to traffic flow, parking, events, and large deliveries in accordance with Health & Safety and environmental requirements.
The role works on a 5 over 7 shift pattern which rotates to support day, evening and weekend operations.

You will also have excellent customer service skills, as you will engage with visitors and stakeholders to enhance their overall transport experience. Your collaborative spirit and effective communication will help build positive relationships and contribute to continuing running a successful campus.
