The role – Supply Chain Coordinator Fresh People are recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator on behalf of our client, a leading fresh produce business based in Dartford, Kent. This is a full-time position with a rotational weekend working pattern, required every other week. As part of the Sales Department, the successful candidate will play a key role in managing fruit inventory, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the seamless flow of product from the packhouse to the customer. Key Responsibilities: Manage and implement inventory control using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and offline systems Oversee product storage, packing, and distribution across the supply chain Maintain and monitor customer forecasts, ensuring accurate inventory reporting Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to meet pallet and outloading requirements Collaborate with internal teams to enhance processes and drive operational efficiency Plan and align sales volumes with supply chain logistics, considering external variables such as vessel delays Communicate product needs daily and weekly, including specifications by size, grade, label, and origin Manage inbound logistics, including container scheduling, documentation, transport, and customs clearance Develop cross-functional process improvements and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Build and maintain relationships with both suppliers and customers Ideal Candidate Profile: Minimum of 5 years' experience in supply chain or inventory management, ideally within a perishable goods industry Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and ERP systems Advanced Excel skills and a strong command of Microsoft Office applications Skilled in data analysis and multitasking across multiple projects and priorities Strong organisational ability and attention to detail Capable of remaining focused and effective under pressure, with strong problem-solving skills Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team If your experience aligns with the responsibilities outlined above or you believe you bring transferable skills to the role, we’d love to hear from you
