This is a full-time role with much of the working week spent at our main site in Derby. Due to the Security Classification of our material, there will a periodic requirement to be in office five days a week, but flexible working (i.e., working from home) will be made available when appropriate. What you will be doing:
* Update and refresh existing training content via a purpose-built eLearning HTML5 framework.
* Develop innovative and cost-effective HTML5 solutions to deliver interactive animated content, in support of fit for future training requirements.
* Interface with other internal and external training teams, training tool developers, and Subject Matter Experts to provide well considered, fit for purpose digital courseware solutions.
* Attendance at a range of external continuous professional development events to further advance your knowledge, develop partner relationships, and represent the Rolls-Royce brand.

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:
* Degree in digital learning design/digital information design, and/or equivalent relevant experience supported by a professional portfolio.
* Proven and demonstrable working knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript and ActionScript to develop digital solutions from start to completion.
* Experience in supporting the conversion of Flash content into a HTML5 framework, to support the delivery of 3D models and animation in both an online and classroom environments.
* Would be an advantage to have proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with a specific focus on Animate, Illustrator and Photoshop.
* Strong interpersonal and technical communication skills.
* Experience in delivering time-critical projects, to a defined quality standard.

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don't currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
