Job Description:
Your new company
Due to a high demand for Science Teachers across Bury and surrounding areas, Hays Education is looking to register a number of Science teachers of all experience levels.
Your new role
You will be responsible for teaching your Science discipline, or in some cases across all 3 areas at Secondary schools across Greater Manchester.
In a long-term role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, as well as completing the subsequent marking and assessment of pupils' work, ensuring all pupils are progressing well within the classroom. You will also be expected to attend and prepare for Parents' Evenings throughout the academic calendar.
Behaviour management will also be a priority, as well as ensuring pupils are achieving to the best of their ability and engaging with the subject in your classroom.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a registered teacher with Hays Education, you must possess QTS / QTLS and ideally have experience teaching your one Science discipline, or all 3 Sciences across KS3 and KS4.
You must give full commitment to the role you accept, demonstrating work ethic and flexibility to adapt to your new environment.
What you'll get in return
You will have a dedicated and supportive Hays Consultant who will be in contact with you throughout the contract. Additionally, you will be invited to join our Hays Education Hub App, which allows us to send out newly registered jobs tailored to you. The app also provides unlimited free training courses and the ability to update your availability at any time.
You will also join our Hays Refer a Friend Scheme, where you could receive £250 in high street vouchers.
You can use the Hays Timesheet App or online system to submit your timesheets weekly.
There is potential for long-term positions to be extended or made permanent, depending on the role and school circumstances.
