Join the Team as a Lead EC&I Commissioning Engineer in Reading!
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Lead EC&I Commissioning Engineer has arisen with one of our clients, a world leader within many industries. This role is placed within the Nuclear industry. This role is for a 6-month contract inside IR35.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Lead Commissioning Engineer, you will provide BMS System technical and engineering team support, completing all relevant project documentation.
You will perform highly skilled commissioning testing on instrumentation and control apparatus as per written procedures, carrying out commissioning activities on control circuits, VSDs, AHUs, level control devices, flow control devices, temperature control devices, and pressure control devices.
The Lead Commissioning Engineer will review and carry out the correct execution of commissioning procedures for assigned instrument/electrical tasks with guidance from the Project Commissioning Engineers. You should be able to read, interpret, and work from vendor documentation, project drawings, schematic diagrams, and equipment manuals.
FUNCTION:
* The EC&I Test Team Leader (Commissioning) is normally expected to undertake or manage site surveys and manage Toolbox talks.
* Develop test specifications and design testing methodology, including site work documentation (risk assessment, method statement, site test documentation).
* Develop O&M documentation and supervise full integrated system testing, CFAT, SAT, and installation & calibration testing if required. Undertake or manage observations, variations, and reworks.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
* EC&I Knowledge: Demonstrate strong previous technical experience in the field of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control.
* Industry experience: Nuclear.
* Previous experience of supervising a team of Electrical/Instrument technicians.
