This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise to improve the functionality, efficiency, and delivery of vital applications, directly supporting our public sector services.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert support to customers in the use of application software and support tools.
Develop processes and procedures to establish and optimise a new Service Desk environment.
Use application management tools to enhance the efficiency of business application functionality.
Collaborate with internal teams and third-party providers to plan and implement new services.
Support and troubleshoot Service Applications, ensuring their seamless operation.
Apply technical knowledge of enterprise-level computing, including Microsoft operating systems, business software, and office productivity tools.

About you
Essential Skills and Requirements:
Supporting customers with application software and using support software tools.
Working within a public sector organisation.
Supporting Service Applications and developing service desk processes.
Working with application management tools to streamline business application functionality.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong professional judgment and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Collaborative team-working skills to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Ability to organise workloads, work accurately, and meet tight deadlines with limited supervision.
Ability to build and maintain successful relationships with internal teams and third-party providers.
Specialist Knowledge:
Knowledge of SQL, advanced Excel formulae, and related tools.
Awareness of ITIL v3 or v4 principles.
