We have an exciting opening for a Paramedic to join our Primary Care team at HMP Belmarsh, a category A Prison located in Thamesmead, South East London.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency and quality.
The site currently offers a 24-hour service and shift patterns. The shift hours are 07:00 - 19:00, nights 19:00 - 07:00 on a rota basis, including weekends.
This position is full time, and you'll receive an annual salary up to £53,172 per annum - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As a Paramedic, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Provide high-quality emergency care and minor injury treatment to patients in both primary care and acute care needs
* Undertake procedures such as suturing, IV access, hemorrhage control, wound care, and cardiac & CVA intervention
* Be actively involved in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient's care
* Deliver care to patients both within the healthcare centre and on the Wings/blocks.

Qualifications & Experience required
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in either Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments, or Minor injuries/illness
* Current professional registration (HCPC)
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Patient-centred values and non-judgmental approach
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment.
