KHR are pleased to be partnered with aleading manufacturer with an excellent reputation for high-qualitygoods, who are recruiting a Production and Packing Operative tojoin their team on a permanent contract.
Thekey role of the Production and Packing Operative is to produce,fill, assemble and pack products ensuring quality requirements aremet at all times.
Responsibilities of theProduction and Packing Operative willinclude;
- Production operations includingproduction of bulk product from raw materials, filling containers,quality testing, picking stock ready to be packed
-Packing operations including labelling, filling, assembling, andpacking products ready for dispatch
- Assisting withperiodic stock checks and annual stock-take
- Deputisingfor other Production Department staff as required
-Working in a safe, orderly manner with regard for the safety ofothers and in accordance with company health and safety policy andprocedures
- Helping to maintain the factory, rawmaterial stores, packing areas and warehouse in a clean andtidy
Candidate Profile
-Similar experience in a production role
- Physically fitdue to heavy lifting
- Experience monitoring stocklevels
- Be organised and efficient
- Be a goodteam player with the ability to work alone whenrequired
